About Us
Nestled in the heart of Nashville, Barn in the Bend offers a picturesque setting for your dream wedding. With its rustic charm, the venue features a beautiful, modern barn surrounded by lush landscapes, providing the perfect countryside view from our outdoor covered wedding chapel overlooking the Nashville skyline.
Our Story
Jackie and David were high school sweethearts and have been married for 50 year. They have lived on the farm where they built their home in 1985 and raised their 3 sons, which has been in operation since the early 1940βs. It has been a dairy farm and now, for the past 20 years a horse and cattle farm.
The reception barn was built in 1998 for their sons to raise and train their horses. It soon became a big business, but in August of 2012, the business closed its doors for the last time opening the doors for Barn In The Bend in 2013.
David and Jackie made the perfect team as they spent the first year being completely hands with designing, construction, and all the renovation process. Within the year, they were able to see their dream venue come to fruition and are always making improvements.
David is always the go to guy when it comes to any form of maintenance around the farm. Nothing is too big or small for him. You will probably see him directing your guests as they arrive to share in your special day.
Meet the Team
Jackie
Owner | Manager
Jackie handles the day to day of booking and showing potential Brides the venue. She coordinates all the vendors for our All Inclusive packages and helps ensure everything is perfect for your wedding day.
In her off time, she loves spending time designing and cultivating her many flower beds around the farm and keeping the landscape pristine. She also enjoys doting on her 7 granddaughters.
Natasha
Assistant Manager | Calligrapher
Natasha joined our team in 2016 and our family in 2019. Her talents are many. With her calligraphy skills, Brides love to order their custom signs, mirrors, & seating charts from her. Natasha is also responsible for most of our website design. She supports our team in various ways.
In her personal time, she enjoys sewing custom purses and embroidery, and spending quality time with her family.
Corinne
Wedding Director
Corinne has been with us since the beginning in 2014. She enjoys her retirement from Dollar General and her experience as an Administrative Assistance has added to her organizational and communication skills as a Wedding Director. Corinne loves everyone and you canβt help falling in love with her infectious personality.
In her off time, Corinne stays very busy spending time with her grandsons and their sporting activities.
Micah
Beverage Hostess
Micah joined the team in 2016. She is our lead hostess for our cocktail and dinner beverages. She is also one of our Day of Coordinators. Sheβs always available to pitch in wherever she is needed.
In her own time, sheβs a very busy mom of 2 daughters who are very active in many extra curricular activities.
Bonnie
Wedding Director | Logistics Coordinator
Bonnie is one of our newer members joining us in 2023. Her past experience as a hotel event manager has served her well as our Logistics Coordinator as well as a Wedding Director.
Bonnie also helps manager her family business and stays very busy with her teenage daughter and her activities.
Savannah
Event Staff
Savannah joined the team in 2023. She leads our event staff and assists in capacity that is needed. Her willing attitude makes her an excellent team player.
Savannah is our oldest granddaughter and loves spending time on the farm. She is currently pursuing a career as an Esthetician.
